21 Day Fast

January 5-25, 2026

The Word tells us why fasting matters:

“Draw near to God, and He will draw near to you.” — James 4:8

“Man shall not live by bread alone, but by every word that comes from the mouth of God.” — Matthew 4:4

“If My people, who are called by My name, will humble themselves and pray and seek My face… then I will hear from heaven.” — 2 Chronicles 7:14

As we fast, we are laying aside distractions and earthly comforts to say, Jesus, You are what we need most. We believe He will meet us here, speak clearly, and draw us closer than ever before.

God’s word tells us this form of obedience will:

Developing a deeper, more intimate relationship with Jesus is not just something we desire—it is His highest priority for us. More than our service, more than our plans, He longs for our hearts.

As we draw closer to Him, He opens our eyes to what He wants to teach us. He gives us wisdom, clarity, and understanding so we can walk confidently in His plan and purpose for our lives.

Step Into the Fast with Faith!

Blondy Church family, we are excited to embark on this corporate Daniel Fast together! During this fast, you will enjoy nutritious, plant-based meals while intentionally setting aside other foods as an act of worship and sacrifice to the Lord. While the traditional Daniel Fast calls for 21 days of whole foods, fruits, and vegetables, feel free to adapt your fast in a way that works best for you; remembering that the focus is on spiritual growth and obedience. Here are some alternative fasting styles:
